Hi, I'm Kate.
I love painting with teeny tiny brushes, I can't say no to a pistachio ice cream and I think that baby giggles are the best sound in the world.
I am an Australian Portrait Illustrator, based in Spain, and I love drawing people and making things with my hands. I'm also a Mama to two gorgeous little people, who fill my days and my camera roll. I'm usually the one behind the camera and rarely in the photos, so I started painting little snapshots from our days and from there it grew into 'Kate Paints Memories'.
People come to me to capture the things they want to remember forever. My paintings are more than just custom portraits. They are little moments on paper, and each one tells a story.
When I am not painting beautiful memories for people all around the world, I run illustration workshops where I bring people together to get creative and make their own masterpieces.
Most of all, I love painting the little joys that connect us to one another and that link our days into a lifetime. I hope you'll share one of your precious memories with me one day and let me put it on paper.
